It's (Really) Over: Barry Bonds Wins



The U.S. government's legal pursuit of Barry Bonds ended today with a one-paragraph motion by the U.S. Department of Justice announcing that it will not ask the U.S. Supreme Court to review the appellate decision that overturned Bonds' obstruction of justice conviction.

"The finality of today's decision gives me great peace. As I have said before, this outcome is something I have long wished for. I am relieved, humbled and thankful for what this means for me and my family moving forward." -- Barry Bonds

Nats baseball fans freak over a 'Barry Bonds' walk to Bryce Harper

You cannot walk Bryce Harper and not get away with scorn and more scorn:

 Don Mattingly and the Los Angeles Dodgers decided to show some cowardice in the first inning of last night's game. After a two base error on Danny Espinosa's bunt, Bryce Harper stepped to the plate with a base open. The Dodgers called for the old four finger salute, intentionally walking him.
